The Firelands Falcons will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Keystone Wildcats at 7:00 p.m.
After a string of three wins, Firelands' good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 51-35 bruising from Steele. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Firelands has scored all season.
Meanwhile, even though Chippewa scored an imposing 60 points on Saturday, Keystone still came out on top. Keystone walked away with a 67-60 win over Chippewa. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Keystone.
It was another big night for Grant Hartley, who scored 32 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. Hartley is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Goran, who scored 16 points.
Firelands' defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Keystone, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season.
Firelands couldn't quite finish off Keystone in their previous meeting back in January and fell 49-47. Will Firelands have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more basketball content.
