Christ Our Rock Lutheran had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Maryville Christian by a score of 46-37 on Monday. The victory was just what Christ Our Rock Lutheran needed coming off of a 51-28 loss in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Ramsey's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight defeat. They fell to Lincolnwood 36-32.
Despite the defeat, Ramsey had strong showings from Jenni Mezo, who scored six points along with four steals, and Kelli Cook, who scored five points along with two steals. It was the first time this season that Cook grabbed two or more steals.
Christ Our Rock Lutheran's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-16. As for Ramsey, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Christ Our Rock Lutheran against the Rams in their previous matchup back in December of 2019 as the squad secured a 64-33 victory.
