Even though the East Dragons scored an imposing 59 points on Friday, the John F. Kennedy Fighting Eagles still came out on top. John F. Kennedy rang in the new year with a 66-59 win over East.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead John F. Kennedy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Damarion Logan, who scored 17 points. Logan has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Damairus Logan, who scored 16 points.
John F. Kennedy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season. As for East, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. John F. Kennedy will take on John Adams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
