The Quincy Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight defeat. They fell to Loyalton 61-55. Quincy has not had much luck with Loyalton recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Aidan Shelby continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Loyalton, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. Shelby is crushing the block category: he's posted at least three every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gus Petterson, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Quincy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season. As for Loyalton, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.
Quincy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 67-52 defeat vs. Portola on the 9th. Loyalton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
