After six games on the road, North Callaway is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Montgomery County Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Even though North Callaway has not done well against Paris recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. North Callaway came out on top against Paris by a score of 58-45.
North Callaway's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Natalie Shryock led the charge by scoring 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Blevins, who scored 11 points along with six assists and four steals.
Meanwhile, Montgomery County put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Silex 63-33 on the road. The result was nothing new for Montgomery County, who have now won five contests by 23 points or more so far this season.
North Callaway's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Montgomery County, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with that win, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.
