Baseball Recap: Colton Jacobs Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Caro

While Garber's victory against Caro wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Dukes never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Monday. The Dukes haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Not much got past Ethan Pett, who gave up just two hits and racked up 13 Ks to keep Caro off the board.

On the hitting side, Garber saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colton Jacobs, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs. Those two runs gave Jacobs a new career-high. Nathan Foret also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
