Owen County came tearing into Monday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Trimble County Raiders by a score of 39-30. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-38 back in January.

Owen County pushed their record up to 13-10 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points over those games. As for Trimble County, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

Coming up, Owen County will head out on the road to challenge Grant County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trimble County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Walton-Verona at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Walton-Verona has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
