Carrollton has won 35 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia has won 35 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Hawks will welcome the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Carrollton 1.5, Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
On Monday, Carrollton got the win against Pleasant Hill by a conclusive 22-2. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 22 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Hannah Uhles made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

That's the most runs Flowers has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Vanna Holmes, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
Carrollton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .778. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in 28 consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia hadn't done well against Calhoun recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Trojans' pitcher stepped up to hand the Warriors a 4-0 shutout.
Not much got past Mylee Tracy, who gave up just seven hits and racked up eight Ks to keep Calhoun off the board.
On the hitting side, Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Raye Greenstreet, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Carrollton, their victory bumped their record up to 29-0.
Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Carrollton has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .540. However, it's not like Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia struggles in that department as they've averaged .481. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Carrollton took their win against Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 14-3 score. Do the Hawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
