The team also got some help courtesy of  Elissa Dewees, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Shelton fell victim to a  rough 14-3 defeat at the hands of WF West  on Monday.
 Yelm pushed their record up to 8-2 with that  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 17.5 runs per game. As for Shelton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
