Clint and San Elizario are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Clint Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the San Elizario Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clint has now lost 14 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 20.
Clint suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 65-29 loss at the hands of Mountain View. Clint has struggled against Mountain View recently, as their game on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, San Elizario strolled past Fabens with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 50-34.
Clint bumped their record down to 1-16 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for San Elizario, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-13 record this season.
Clint didn't have too much breathing room in their game against San Elizario when the teams last played back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 48-43 victory. Will Clint repeat their success, or does San Elizario have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
