The Central Bucks West Bucks will venture away from home to face off against the Neshaminy Skins at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neshaminy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Central Bucks West, who comes in off a win.
Central Bucks West had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Harry S. Truman on Monday. The Bucks put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 14-1 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bucks considering their two-run performance the game before.

Stephen Verdolini made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 5.3 strikeouts per game. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Central Bucks West got a massive performance out of Jack Hogenauer, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases Hogenauer has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Jacob Greer, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Central Bucks West always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .645. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Neshaminy suffered their closest defeat since March 29, 2025 on Saturday. They fell just short of Conwell-Egan Catholic by a score of 6-4. The loss was the Skins' first of the season.
Neshaminy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mike Sassano, who went 1-for-3 with two runs. Nick Sassano also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
Having lost for the first time this season, Neshaminy fell to 3-1. As for Central Bucks West, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Central Bucks West has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.2 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Neshaminy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Central Bucks West couldn't quite finish off Neshaminy in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 and fell 9-7. Can the Bucks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
