Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Westside Patriots walked away with it. They walked away with  a   70-59  victory over the Eagles  on Saturday. The  victory was familiar territory for Westside who now have eight in a row.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westside to victory, but perhaps none more so than   DeMarco Middleton, who  scored 14 points along with eight  rebounds and two  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Bobby Blackwell, who  scored ten points along with five  rebounds and four  blocks.
 Westside is  on a roll lately: they've  won 18 of their last 19 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 28-4 record  this season. As for Columbia, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 28-4.
 Westside's road trip will continue as they head out to face Toombs County at 3:00  p.m.  on March 7th. Toombs County will roll in looking for their  21st straight  victory, something Westside surely won't give up without a fight. Columbia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
