Screven County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alailah Scott, who scored 23 points. The match was Scott's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Kyla Olgesby was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Jenkins County and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for Screven County, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.
Jenkins County will head out on the road to face off against Jefferson County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson County is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Screven County will take on Portal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
