 Myles McBride made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in April. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run and three  RBI. That  home run marked the first that  he has  launched this season.
 McBride wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Jacob Adams, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base and one  run.
The  victory snapped Auburn's losing streak at four games  and leaves them with a 9-11 record. As for East Syracuse-Minoa, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record  this season.
