Mt. Spokane had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Ferris on Thursday. The Wildcats blew past the Saxons 13-3. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Mt. Spokane pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Ferris, they moved to 4-11 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Mt. Spokane will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Saxons: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
