Softball Recap: St. Ursula Academy Has No Trouble Against Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington

While St. Ursula Academy put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington. St. Ursula Academy put the hurt on Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington with a sharp 10-0 victory. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on A Cosgray, who went 4-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. B Bulmer also deserves some recognition as she scored her first runs of the season.

The win made it two in a row for St. Ursula Academy and bumps their season record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, St. Ursula Academy will face off against Ursuline Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington, they will square off against Georgetown at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
