Manila has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on The Osceola Seminoles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arkansas (Manila is ranked 149th, while Osceola is ranked 135th).
Last Friday, Manila had to suffer through a rough 45-6 loss at the hands of Walnut Ridge. Manila was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-6.
Meanwhile, Osceola suffered a tough 35-14 loss at the hands of Hoxie on Friday. Osceola was down 28-8 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Although Osceola took the loss, they still got scores from Tyler Bell and Maurice (MJ) Washington.
Manila has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Osceola, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.
Manila was taken down by Osceola 52-0 in their previous matchup back in November of 2022. Can Manila avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
