Connor Kotski posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Kotski's effort led Owego Free Academy over Seton Catholic Central and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The River Hawks are 9-1 against the Saints going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
