Washburn waltzed into their match on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Cosby Eagles as they made off with a 21-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won nine games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Washburn's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Cosby, their loss dropped their record down to 4-19-1.

As of now, neither Washburn nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
