Cedar Creek won the last time they faced Castor and things went their way on Thursday too. Cedar Creek was the clear victor by a 12-1 margin over Castor. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won ten matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Cedar Creek and bumps their season record up to 12-8. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Castor, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedar Creek will venture away from home to face off against Captain Shreve at 5:00 p.m. on April 4. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Jonesboro-Hodge has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.75 runs per game on average), something Castor will no doubt try to take advantage of.
