Softball Recap: Sale Creek Comes Up Short

Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts hit Sale Creek with a four-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers came up short against the Eagles, falling 9-2. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sale Creek saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jalyn Hammons, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Hammons is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

Sale Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9-1. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2-1.

Sale Creek wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 16-15 loss against Meigs County on the 30th. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against South Pittsburg on the 30th.
