For Serena's part,  Cassie Walsh made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Walsh has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances with two  stolen bases and one  run. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since back in April of 2024.
 In other batting news,  RayElle Brennan was  incredible,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  triple. Another player making a difference was  Jenna Setchell, who  went 1-for-2 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run.
While Amboy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
