When it comes to explaining why Georgia Force Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Shepard Acton. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 24 points and 18 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Acton has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Mccarn, who scored 15 points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Fideles Christian's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Georgia Force Christian, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fideles Christian will challenge the Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Scholars Guild Academy is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Georgia Force Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on February 3rd.
