Hudson's Bay will challenge Evergreen on the road at 7:30 PM on Friday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close matchup.
After a dominant victory in their contest two weeks ago, Hudson's Bay were humbled last Friday. It was close but no cigar for Hudson's Bay as they fell 21-23 to Prairie. Hudson's Bay's loss came about despite a quality game from senior Akilotoa Kaumatule jr., who rushed for 120 yards and 1 touchdown. If you haven't heard Kaumatule jr.'s name lately, then you haven't been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past four games.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 14-55, which was the final score in Evergreen's tilt against Mountain View. Evergreen were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 7-42.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
