Mount Notre Dame put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to Bellbrook for the full four quarters, racking up a 51-22 victory at home. The result was nothing new for Mount Notre Dame, who have now won five games by 20 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mount Notre Dame to victory, but perhaps none more so than Grace Pitzer, who scored eight points along with five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for her. Laila Harrison was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Mount Notre Dame pushed their record up to 8-0 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Bellbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Notre Dame will stay at home for another game and welcome Beavercreek at 7:30 p.m. on December 22nd. Bellbrook will be home for the holidays to greet Trotwood-Madison at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Trotwood-Madison is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
