Makayla Brown turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than six strikeouts on Wednesday. She struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and not a single walk). She was up against Greater Nanticoke Area and has quite the history against that squad, as she also had a great game the last time she faced them back in April of 2024. Those hits marked the first that Brown allowed this season.

Coming up, Brown and Berwick will challenge Wyoming Area at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
