The Riverview Sharks are taking a road trip to  take on the Brandon Eagles  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Riverview is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7  runs per game  this season.
Riverview's pitching crew heads into the  matchup  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Saturday. Everything went their way against Middleton as Riverview made off with  a  20-0 win. The Sharks haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive  victory against them.
 Kacey Kalinowski was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with two  runs and one  triple.

 In other batting news,  Alivia Garry was  incredible,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with one  home run, three  runs,  and two  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Kara McGuire, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI.
 Riverview  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .667. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 Meanwhile, Brandon was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They lost  20-0 to Plant City.
 Riverview pushed their record up to 7-5 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  at home. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to  hits: they averaged an imposing 11  hits in those games compared to only five in the others. As for Brandon, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
 Riverview took their  victory against Brandon  in their previous meeting  back in February of 2017 by a conclusive  11-1. Does  Riverview have another victory up their sleeve, or will Brandon turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
