Fleming Island had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Ridgeview Panthers with a sharp  3-0 win on Tuesday. The  victory was nothing new for the Golden Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.
Leading Fleming Island to victory were  Alana Santiago and  Maddie Culbreth.  Santiago  had 11  assists and three  aces, while  Culbreth  had six  digs and two  aces. Culbreth has been hot recently, having  posted two or more  aces the last three times she's  played.
 They weren't the only good servers: Fleming Island  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 16  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least nine  aces in three consecutive  matches.
Fleming Island's record now sits at 19-6. As for Ridgeview, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-7.
 Fleming Island wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  loss against Middleburg on the 16th. Ridgeview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
