 Wayne County's lineup was just a bit different  on Thursday as  Case Butler got a bit more time on the court (25 vs. his season average of 12.15). Butler made the most of the opportunity,  scoring nine points. A few more games like that and  he might be seeing even more time going forward.
 Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Jake Mercer, who  scored 22 points. Mercer continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played.  Colton Pevahouse was another key contributor,  scoring eight points along with eight  assists and seven  rebounds.
 Wayne County is  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last 11 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record  this season. As for Perry County, they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 7-13.
