Genesee had won two straight road games and Averie Zinn did her part to make it three on Friday. The Genesee Wolves greeted the New Year with with an 80-61 victory over the New Standard Academy Spartans thanks in part to Zinn, who dropped a triple-double on 54 points, 12 boards, and 11 steals. Her evening made it 24 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Reginae Randle, who posted eight points and 11 rebounds. Those eight points gave her a new career-high.

Genesee is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for New Standard Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Genesee will be playing in front of their home fans against International Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Genesee is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5 points per game this season. As for New Standard Academy, they will face off against Hamady at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
