The Eustis Panthers will take on the Santa Fe Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eustis will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.
Eustis is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They never let Crystal River get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory.

Crystal River's batters probably weren't too happy with Carson Roden, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 13 Ks (she gave up two walks). Roden has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Eustis saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrianna Covino, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Santa Fe's hitters rose to the challenge against a Sharks pitching crew that boasted an average of only 2.52 runs allowed on Wednesday. The Raiders put the hurt on Nature Coast Tech with a sharp 15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won 18 contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Rylee Swilley made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. Swilley was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Santa Fe let Maren Hornsby and Callie Blair run wild. Hornsby went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Blair went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI Blair has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Madisen Crosby, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Santa Fe hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in seven consecutive games.
Eustis' record now sits at 20-6. As for Santa Fe, their record is now 24-3.
Thursday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Eustis hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .345. However, it's not like Santa Fe struggles in that department as they've averaged .388. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Eustis couldn't quite get it done against Santa Fe in their previous matchup back in May of 2019 as they fell 5-1. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
