After flying high against Edgewater  on Tuesday, Legacy Charter came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Real Life Christian Academy Raptors by a score of  9-8 on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled against the Raptors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
 Lindsay Donahey put in work no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 11 batters over  six innings while giving up  three earned  (and six unearned) runs off   five  hits. Donahey was even better at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles.
 Donahey wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Brooklynn Kowal, who  went 2-for-4 with three  runs.
Legacy Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Real Life Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 16-3 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home.
 Coming up, Legacy Charter is taking a road trip to  face off against First Academy  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Real Life Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Leesburg  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
