Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Eagle Grove should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They will take on South Hamilton at 7:00 PM. Eagle Grove come in off of five low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
Things haven't been easy for Eagle Grove, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to eight. They ended up forfeiting their matchup against South Central Calhoun 0-2 last Friday.
Meanwhile, South Hamilton put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. Everything went their way against Ogden as they made off with a 37-8 victory. The success made it back-to-back wins for South Hamilton.
South Hamilton's win lifted them to 6-2 while Eagle Grove's loss dropped them down to 0-8. We'll see if Eagle Grove are able to find more success (and make for a more exciting contest than their last) when the teams meet up.
