Dixie barely beat Twin Valley South the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Greyhounds put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 20-10 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Greyhounds, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Kaylie McConnell made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Dixie will take on Arcanum in a tournament on Wednesday. As for Twin Valley South, they will be taking part in a tournament against West Liberty-Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups.
