Tipton has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Northwest Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tipton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five games -- so hopefully Northwest likes a good challenge.
Tipton posted their biggest victory yet this season on Thursday. They beat Vienna by the very same score they won with last week: 72-49.
Tipton found their leader in underclassman Dane Schlotzhauer, who scored 26 points along with two steals. Tipton has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Northwest, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-5.
Tipton didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Northwest when the teams last played back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 64-59 victory. Will Tipton repeat their success, or does Northwest have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
