The Sarasota Sailors will face off against the Parrish Community Bulls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Sarasota comes in on five and Parrish Community on four.
Sarasota's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They put the hurt on Yulee with a sharp 7-0 win. Considering the Sailors have won 11 matchups by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Not much got past Gemma Mulhollen, who gave up just three hits to keep Yulee off the board. Mulhollen has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Sheridan Swain, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Ashlan Guengerich was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
Swain wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Sarasota kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Parrish Community earned a 4-1 victory over Crystal River on Saturday.
Emmaline Van Beck spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up 16 Ks.
On the hitting side, Cassidy Ott was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyndal France, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
Sarasota's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Parrish Community, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Sarasota has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .488. However, it's not like Parrish Community struggles in that department as they've averaged .435. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Sarasota came out on top in a nail-biter against Parrish Community in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-0. Will Sarasota repeat their success, or does Parrish Community has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
