That makes it four consecutive games in which  Melvin has scored at least a third of State College's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Charlie Yartz, who  dropped  a double-double on 17 points and ten  boards.
The  win snapped State College's losing streak at four games  and leaves them with a 9-10 record. As for Central York, their defeat  ended  a  seven-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 19-2.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. State College will square off against Central Dauphin at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Central Dauphin knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully State College likes a good challenge. As for Central York,  a feisty cat fight is on tap when  the Central York Panthers  duke it out with  the Northeastern Bobcats at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
