Kiefer extended the longest winning streak in A District 7 this week by beating Yale, 34-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Kiefer moved up to 133 from 161 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Josh Calvert's team was able to make the jump by beating the Bulldogs 34-0.
The Trojans' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Justin Rovang threw for 202 and two touchdowns and Austin Ford had 127 yards receiving. On the ground Blake Shadowens chipped in 154 yards. Cole Ford helped Kiefer's passing attack out by catching one ball for 28 yards.
Kiefer's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Trojans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Rovang has thrown for 507 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Ford has 10 catches for 225 yards. Trey Sneed leads the league in rushing with 676 yards.
A big matchup in A District 7 this week will be when Barnsdall takes on Morrison. As it stands, the Panthers are in fourth, while the Wildcats are in second.
Hominy took down Depew 47-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.
