Willapa Valley's Anthony Sagen rumbled for the longest rushing play in 2B Pacific this season in his game against South Bend last week. Sagen scampered for 96 yards on the play and finished with 113 on the day as his team beat the Indians.
Raymond moved up to 117 from 148 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Gulls climbed the ranks as a result of beating Tenino 27-21.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when North Beach takes on South Bend. At the moment, the Hyaks are in third, while Tom Sanchez's team is in fourth.
North Beach was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in 2B Pacific. Todd Bridge's team beat Toutle Lake 34-13 earlier in the week.
