After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bellevue Christian, the Life Christian Academy Eagles were happy to have found some success on Monday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 73-35 victory over Vashon Island. That 73-35 margin sets a new team best for Life Christian Academy this season.
Leading Life Christian Academy to victory were Darius Imperial and Jabez Boyd. Imperial dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Boyd almost dropped a triple-double on 22 points, nine rebounds, and nine steals. The contest was Boyd's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Aidan Costanti, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Life Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Vashon Island, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Life Christian Academy will take on East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Vashon Island is on the road again on Friday and play against Annie Wright at 5:30 p.m. on December 15th. Annie Wright has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 332 points over their last four games.
