Westside found their leader in freshman  Bear Woods, who threw for 217 yards and four  touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes. The  victory made it two in a row for Westside and  bumps their season record up to 2-4. Those  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 40.5 points over those games. As for Southside, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westside will host Emerald  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Rams will be up against the Vikings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 25.83  points per  matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Southside, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Laurens  at 7:30  p.m.
