The Patrick Henry Rebels will take on the Northwood Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Patrick Henry has three straight wins, Northwood has 16 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Patrick Henry proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 16) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past Hampton 7-6.

Carter Brown made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and one run.
In other batting news, Aidan Monahan was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Porter Blackwell also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Meanwhile, Northwood fell victim to Honaker and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 11-0.
Patrick Henry's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Northwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.
Northwood's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Patrick Henry hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .356. It's a different story for Northwood, though, as they've only averaged .155. Will they be able to contain Patrick Henry's hitters?
Everything went Patrick Henry's way against Northwood in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, as Patrick Henry made off with a 14-4 win. Will the Rebels repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
