Bruning-Davenport/Shickley's tournament run continued when they took on Lewiston on Monday. Everything went Bruning-Davenport/Shickley's way against Lewiston as Bruning-Davenport/Shickley made off with a 35-12 win. The match marked the Eagles' most dominant victory of the season.

Campbell Bohling was the offensive standout of the contest as she posted eight points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. She has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Hergott, who had five points and six assists.
Bruning-Davenport/Shickley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Pawnee City hadn't done well against Sterling recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Pawnee City snuck past Sterling with a 43-38 win.
Pawnee City's win came from a few key players Bruning-Davenport/Shickley will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kinsley Benson, who put up 19 points and six steals. Those six steals gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cara Pierce, who posted ten points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists.
Bruning-Davenport/Shickley's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Pawnee City, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Bruning-Davenport/Shickley has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 29.6 boards per game. However, it's not like Pawnee City struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32.4 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
