The Elgin Comets lost against the Pleasant Spartans back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Elgin was beaten by Pleasant 64-31. Elgin has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Pleasant was led to victory by Carson King and Trey Booker. King scored 12 points, while Booker scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds. The matchup was Booker's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was JT Snively, who scored 7 points.
Elgin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pleasant, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Elgin will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Ridgedale at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th. As for Pleasant, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Highland at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th.
