Troy was forced to take a big defeat against they on Tuesday, they got the better of them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the West Bloomfield Lakers as they made off with a 23-8 win. Considering the Colts have won seven matches by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Troy has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.6 runs over those games. As for West Bloomfield, they moved to 4-21 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Troy will square off against rival Oak Park at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, West Bloomfield is set to face off against their familiar foe Southfield Arts & Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
