Given Ribault's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 36th, while Fletcher is ranked 269th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Ribault's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nyeemah Dixon, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jacoreyn Andrews, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Ribault has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Fletcher, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
