Beaverton had lost three games at home, but after bumping their record up to 10-5 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Coleman Comets with a sharp 8-1 win. That's two games straight that the Beavers have won by exactly seven runs.

As for Coleman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. Their loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

For Coleman's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Travis Murray, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Coming up, Beaverton will venture away from home to take on Harrison at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coleman, they will host Farwell at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
