The Demopolis Tigers will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Holt Ironmen at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th. Holt took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Demopolis, who comes in off a win.
Last Saturday, Demopolis was able to grind out a solid win over Central, taking the game 4-2. Four seems to be a good number for Demopolis as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.
They hit Central with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Fernando Mancilla-Otero,
Jose Tellez,
John Laney, and
Nathan Chambers.
Meanwhile, Holt suffered a tough 4-1 defeat at the hands of Bessemer City on Monday. That's two games in a row now that Holt has lost by exactly three goals.
Demopolis now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Holt, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Demopolis came up short against Holt in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, falling 2-0. Can Demopolis avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
