Molly Swaim had a dynamite game for Starmount, going 7 for 17 on her way to 29 points and seven rebounds. Swaim continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Moxley, who posted eight points and three steals.
Meanwhile, Leadership Academy came up short against Providence Grove on Saturday, falling 50-27.
Starmount will have to contain Brianna Ross as she made an impact in Leadership Academy's last game. She almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten boards.
The win (which was Starmount's third in a row) raised their record to 4-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game.
