Volleyball Recap: Bloomfield Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Bloomfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Neligh-Oakdale Warriors on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bees also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Bloomfield not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Neligh-Oakdale between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-16.

Bloomfield's offense was headlined by Madyson Mlady and Miley Pinkelman, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Kennedy Mlady and her 12 assists. Kysa Loecker and Makinna Lovell kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Bloomfield's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Neligh-Oakdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Bloomfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Boyd County on the 7th. As for Neligh-Oakdale, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Plainview on the 30th.
